More Subalp

A superb start to the day with cracking views of the Subalpine Warbler in the centre of Hugh Town.

A stop at an alley just off Porthcressa gave point-blank views of the Turtle Dove.

Over the sea to Bryher where we failed to turn up the Common Rosefinch or Short-toed Lark. We did manage a Lapland Bunting, 3 Yellow-browed Warbler, Firecrest, Spotted Flycatcher, Whitethroat and the Hooded Crow.

On the return to St Mary's we made a dash for Carreg Dhu, but were too late for the Red-eyed Vireo.
