Pretty grim weather in Northumberland today. A strong easterly and constant rain made it feel cold and damp, so not ideal birding conditions. I ended up picking up 22 new birds for the year, but the main targets (Long-billed Dowitcher and Black Redstart) were missed. Star birds were Iceland Gull at QE11, Slavonian Grebe at East Chevington and Twite at Amble Braid.
