Token Kingfisher
Very quiet at Shibdon today. No sign of the Greenshank or Green Sandpiper, with just 4 Black-tailed Godwit hanging on. Two juvenile Water Rail were showing, with one flying past the hide. A Kingfisher spent an hour flying around the pond, sitting on the mud on several islands and occasionally perching by the hide.
