Went further north than yesterday and headed up to Newton. No great excitement, but the scrape held 28 Black-tailed Godwit, 50+ Dunlin, 3 Ruff and a Greenshank. A Toad was out in the sun.

More of the same
Again Shibdon held 24 Black-tailed Godwit, a Green Sandpiper and a Grey Wagtail.
Went further north than yesterday and headed up to Newton. No great excitement, but the scrape held 28 Black-tailed Godwit, 50+ Dunlin, 3 Ruff and a Greenshank. A Toad was out in the sun.
Nothing much else on the way back south, with a Kingfisher at Hauxley the highlight.
