Not the grebe we're looking for.

Whitburn for a seawatch this morning hoping for a Red-necked Grebe, but had to make do with a Great-crested. Plenty of variety, but a lack of quality.

A tour around the hides of Gateshead in increasingly unpleasant weather yielded nothing exciting.
