Little Auk

The seawatch at Whitburn this morning took a while to get going, but ended with some impressive totals. Leading the way were 600+ Fulmar moving north with 15 Blue Fulmar of varying shades. The Little Auk started very quietly, but by 1300hrs 336 had flown north in singles and small parties. Other star birds were 2 Pomarine Skua, Velvet Scoter, Puffin and a Short-eared Owl that flew in-off mobbed by gulls.
