With a constant westerly gale, today was not a day for wandering about. Not the best conditions for a seawatch from Whitburn, but despite very little passing, we managed to pick up some good birds.

Next it was down to Hartlepool to brave the wind. The Surf Scoter was showing well about 100yds out to sea, just north of the bowling green. The wild wind made it difficult getting a photo.
