After a quiet seawatch yesterday, today was much better. As I walked through the door pods of both Bottlenose and White-beaked Dolphin were heading south. Star birds were a Balearic Shearwater that spent 15mins off the obs and an early Black-throated Diver that I picked up on the sea. Full results here.
Back in Gateshead there were 3 Green Sandpiper at Lamesley and 7 Black-tailed Godwit at Shibdon.
