Another decent seawatch from Whitburn in less than ideal conditions. A Balearic Shearwater was again the star bird, this time not lingering and heading straight through north. A good passage of waders and Common Tern, plus some close Roseate Tern. Full results here.

In Gateshead 2 Green Sandpiper hung on at Lamesley. 10 Black-tailed Godwit at Shibdon this morning dwindled to 5 this afternoon and none by tonight. A Dunlin was the sole new wager to drop in with the rain. A Kingfisher was also here.
