Distant Stilt

With everyone getting cracking shots of the Stilt Sandpiper I thought that I would get one of my own and popped up to Cresswell after work. Unfortunately the bird was feeding in the middle of the pond, so it was phone through scope again. Slightly better than last time, but not the shot I wanted.

Also here were 50+ Dunlin, 9 Avocet, 2 Knot and 4 Ruff. A Little Egret dropped in and a Sparrowhawk shot through before landing on the fence by the hide.
