After the fog
A look out of the window to thick fog at 04.30 this morning gave me a couple of hours lie in and I didn't get down to Whitburn until after 8. The murk was starting to push back out to sea when I arrived and a steady stream of birds were passing close inshore. Highlights were 2 Velvet Scoter, 3 Arctic Skua and a Bonxie. Full results on Trektellen. The walk back to the car gave 4 Painted Lady and loads of Diamondback Moths.
