A disappointing morning at a wind-blasted Saltholme. A nice pair of Garganey didn't make up for the fact the Temminck's Stint was re-found just after I arrived home.

The afternoon was better with Wood Warbler and Pied Flycatcher at Muggleswick, then a cracking fly-by Osprey at Derwent Reservoir.

More Osprey
All quiet in Gateshead, but a White Wagtail at Lamesley was new in.

  1. Please let the Kielder Osprey Project know if you see any of our returning youngsters. Hoping to get down soon to see if I can see Blue 39 - an osprey I helped ring.
