Mackem Med
A last gasp Black-throated Diver was the star of a quiet seawatch off Whitburn this morning. Other highlights were a trickle of Red-throated Diver, 4 Red-breasted Merganser and a Goosander.
On the way home a look at SAFC Academy Pools failed to give the adult Iceland Gull, but there was a smart Mediterranean Gull.
